Jesus: I Speak to You Again

Chapter 50

A Living Experience of the Father within Oneself

Once you experience a living relationship with the Father, you will come to realize—and even witness to others—that only this living connection allows you to truly know Him. This relationship brings you self-confidence and deepens your trust in the Father more and more. As your trust grows, so too does your dedication to serving others and benefiting the whole, freely and without any obligations or restraints. This driving force comes from within you—the impulses of the Father’s spirit, the Thought Adjuster, which you gradually begin to understand and sense more clearly. Over time, the vibrations of your consciousness rise and increasingly merge with the Divine, Universal, and Absolute Consciousness—the Creator’s Consciousness.

This essential teaching is missing from the ritualistic churches of today. It is this teaching that your soul longs for, yet your soul remains weak in the face of your material mind. The soul is weak because your mind does not receive the higher spiritual vibrations that should come from your parents at home, teachers at school, priests in the church, leaders at work, or even wiser brothers and sisters in your everyday life. As a result, the soul cannot grow stronger. It senses the Father’s teaching through His spirit, but the material mind immediately suppresses this guidance with selfish desires, whether they serve the individual or a group. A mind driven by such desires becomes the primary obstacle to the soul’s ability to feel the Father’s presence and guidance from within.

This divine leading does not require any mediator. The time has come for you to understand that there is no, and cannot be, any mediator between you and God. God is the closest to you—He is within you. What better mediator could there be when each of you exists within God, and God exists within each of you? No one is outside of God; He is the ultimate, inescapable reality. It is because of Him that each of you receives a fragment of His spirit, the Thought Adjuster, so that you do not need to seek a mediator in your relationship with God.
