Jesus: I Speak to You Again
Chapter 49
Communion with the Father
The time has come to hear my word without distortions—without the additions that not only dim the light and peace of my teachings but destroy them entirely. Therefore, I say to you: the time has arrived for you to seek the Father within yourselves, rather than in the dead rituals of the contemporary church.
A living spirit of a living Father resides within you. It is this spirit that draws you to church. However, this spirit is not given the space it needs to fully bloom and reveal itself within you because no one explains how this spirit can flourish within your soul so that you may feel the wonderful and living presence of the Father. Now I tell you, in church you must not follow the dead rituals or preach empty dogma. Instead, you should open up, with all sincerity, to the Father who dwells within you. And you can do this even more effectively in a peaceful environment where you will not be disturbed. You can find such peaceful moments anywhere and at any time. Then, in that peace, pray sincerely in your own words. Speak with the Father as you would with your closest friend, sharing all your secrets. Afterward, take a few moments of silence. In this state of openness, your soul naturally opens to the teachings of the Father’s spirit, which is always there, guiding you. However, it is not always easy to hear this guidance. Your soul must be at peace, and you must open yourself fully in sincerity to hear the whispers of the Father’s spirit.
This opening up and communion with the Father by each of you is true, living communion. This is the gift the Father desires from you—not any kind of sacrifice. And this gift, this living communion, is far more valuable than any sacrifice you could imagine. It is a gift that is alive, and it has a real impact—not only on the Father but also on you, the one who participates in such communion and who feels the Father within their soul. This is the communion I came to this world to show you: the path to the Father, the reality of that path through the opening of your heart by means of living faith, not through dead rituals and sacrifices.
My life among you was meant to be a demonstration of this path, and I became that path for you. Therefore, you may call me the Deliverer, but not a redeemer. I delivered you from the chains of prejudice, but it was you who rejected the path I showed, even my closest apostles. My most loyal disciple, who was once a leader of John the Baptist’s followers, had to leave for Philadelphia due to conflicts with Peter and Paul. He was rejected by his fellow disciples for staying true to my gospel, and because of this, his name was omitted from the gospels. This disciple carried on my light, undistorted, even though he was alone. Unfortunately, his efforts were small compared to the grand machinery of the Roman church, which turned my teachings into a business filled with grand buildings, expensive decorations, golden objects, extravagant robes, and—most tragically—dead rituals devoid of my light and life.
Two thousand years ago, I told you that I am the good shepherd who enters the sheepfold through its open door. I am the shepherd who seeks out even one lost sheep. I am the shepherd who will lay down his life to protect his flock. And my sheep know my voice. But I also have sheep in other folds. Now, as your material civilization has advanced beyond imagination, I can tell you that my mission in the flesh was also for my sheep in those other folds. At that time, I could not openly tell my disciples that there are other planets inhabited by people. Yet the people of these worlds were following the progress of my mission. Among the many inhabited worlds, some have advanced far beyond your world in both material and spiritual terms. My mission was understood far better by the people of these worlds than by the people of Earth, even though my mission took place among your ancient ancestors.
If mortals from these more advanced worlds were brought to Earth, their reaction to your daily life and your relationship with God would be similar to how you view tribes living in isolation in the jungle, disconnected from the outside world. Just as you see the primitiveness of these tribes, so too would these more developed mortals see your primitive relationship with God. They would feel deep sympathy for you, wondering why you punish yourselves with rituals instead of seeking a living relationship with the Father.
There are only two rituals that should exist in your life, and they are both living rituals. The first is your living communion with the Father. The second is your personal service to others, done with love and out of love for the Father. No other rituals are needed, and none can surpass these two living rituals. By committing to these two, you will experience a beautiful feeling—a living connection with the Father. This connection will be your reward from the Father for your sincere and devoted efforts. And just like the love you feel for the person dearest to you, this reward will be felt within you, as a living sensation.
