Jesus: I Speak to You Again

Chapter 146

The Father Provides You Wisdom to See Further

When I was a young man in the human flesh on your world, I faced a moment of deep disappointment when a delegation of Jews approached me, asking me to join a nationalistic movement. This group sought to prepare the youth for actions that would lead to liberation from the Roman Empire’s oppression. My disappointment stemmed from a deeper understanding that such a movement, focused on rebellion, was destined to fail. The Roman Empire was far too powerful for the relatively small forces of the Jews to overcome, especially with their lack of a deeper understanding of God. The empire viewed the Jews with disdain, which only worsened their chances.

What saddened me most was that the delegation, along with the men who sent them, could not see the futility of their cause. They believed that if they could convince me to join them, they would gain the support of the youth in Nazareth, many of whom were my friends. I felt a deep inner pain, not because they approached me, but because they were blinded by short-sightedness. They were setting the young people against each other, and when I refused to join their cause, a division arose even within my own family.

My refusal created a split among the youth of Nazareth, and I experienced a new kind of disappointment. Although I had always respected the free will of others, even if I disagreed with their choices, I never allowed myself to feel anger or irritation. However, when I refused to align myself with the nationalists, those who had once been my friends quickly turned against me. They called me a coward and hurled insults. The bonds we had shared, which were strong just moments before, were instantly severed. Their attitude toward me changed simply because I would not obey their demands.

I share this with you so that you might understand: making a wise decision, especially one rooted in the Father’s guidance, does not guarantee support or approval from others. People have different levels of understanding and depths of thinking. Those who do not understand your choices may not only refuse to support you but may also actively work against you. They will try to sway others in their circles, defame you, and use any means to stop your progress.

In this world, as it was during my time, spiritual darkness reigns, and humans are quick to be offended and slow to forgive. Many are governed by animal instincts—the drive to dominate others, whether through physical strength, political power, or wealth. Instead of serving one another with love, wisdom, and mercy, humans often seek control.

You must be prepared for this reality. By submitting yourself to the Father’s guidance and wisdom, you will strengthen your faith and the resolve to continue on your spiritual path. You will need this strength to endure the opposition you will face, even from those you consider friends.

As an adolescent, I knew that the only way to solve problems was through peaceful means and faith in the Father. This path is visible only to those who devote themselves to Him and open themselves to His wise teachings. It was through this deeper understanding that I realized the nationalistic movement would lead only to defeat and suffering. Though my decision divided the youth of Nazareth, I could not act against the wisdom given to me by the Father.
