Jesus: I Speak to You Again

Chapter 150

Help Yourselves

You must reflect on this: two thousand years ago, I began preaching the good news of the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man. Today, I continue my teachings, and just as I said back then, I say now again: a generation will come that truly comprehends my gospel. That generation will live by it. To help make this a reality, I am calling upon you to assist yourselves—turn to the Father within, and after discovering Him, you will experience the true meaning of your life. Your way of living will then transform into one fitting for a member of the Father’s family. Only then will you be able to share your experience with your fellow brothers and sisters and teach them how to live with the Father and in brotherhood with humanity. By living this way, you will help both the Father and me bring about the moment when all of humanity embraces and lives out the gospel I first brought to you two thousand years ago.

During my earthly mission, when I was baptized in the Jordan River, I knew that my journey would end in tragedy. I knew a brutal death awaited my physical body, and I also knew that I would do nothing to avoid it, despite having the power to escape it. I could have easily brought down a wave of divine intervention so powerful that it would have astounded everyone around me, a mere thought would have been enough to save myself and the two others crucified alongside me. However, such a spectacle would have been nothing more than a momentary thrill for the eyes and the mind. Once that thrill faded, souls that had not been awakened would become even more enslaved to their selfish, materialistic desires, demanding new signs and wonders. Failing to receive them, they would turn away from me and the Father, and likely crucify me once again.

A soul that is not awakened cannot recognize the quiet voice of the Father speaking through the higher self. For those governed by selfish desires, it is always the outer signs and spectacular events that command attention. But this kind of belief is not true faith. It is not the living faith that the Father bestows upon the soul. Only soul-faith can assure a person that they are not mistaken, and it does not require external signs or miraculous acts. Faith born of the soul confirms itself without needing the approval of the material mind.

You, too, can play a significant role in spreading my living gospel into the hearts of men. When they feel the effectiveness of my teachings, as you will when you follow them, they will be drawn to the truth of my words. When you discover the Father within yourselves by following my spiritual teachings, do not keep this revelation to yourself. Share your experiences with those who sincerely seek the truth. And when you work with children, spread the Father’s love not only through the energy of your love but also through simple words they can understand. You are not just filling their hearts with love; you are nurturing their higher, divine selves from an early age, preventing their selfish, ego-driven selves from taking root.

One day, these children, with their awakened higher selves, will rise above their lower, egoistic nature. The divine within them will flourish because their lower self never had the chance to dominate. This will be your contribution to spreading my gospel.

Your efforts will not go unnoticed. Your guardian angels, the seraphim, who are always with you, will see your actions and care for you as you care for others. I will notice, too. The Father will see it, and your good works will build your character, preparing you for even greater acts of love and goodness. You can be certain that every good deed born of the heart is always recognized and valued.

As I taught you two thousand years ago, do not store up treasures on earth, where they can be stolen or destroyed, but store up treasures in heaven, where they remain forever. These treasures are your good deeds, your true riches, which will never fade away. When you ascend to me after your resurrection, you will see for yourself that all your good deeds have been preserved. You will be shown every one of them, and then you will know whether you have worked diligently during your earthly life and how rich you truly are in the wealth of the spirit.
