Jesus: I Speak to You Again

Chapter 119

Give up Avoiding Decisions

In the creation, everything is done through sincere, loving cooperation, not under stress and tension. Mistakes are a natural part of the process, but when they occur, you don’t react with frustration, as you tend to do in this world. Instead, you try again—perhaps a second, third, or even fourth time—to solve the task. In the higher realms, you don’t avoid challenges or delay hard decisions like you often do here.

Avoiding daily tasks wears you down, making you more hesitant and doubtful of your abilities. Worse still, it reinforces a bad habit: the tendency to push everything off into the future. But you must understand that the future will bring new challenges that build upon the decisions of today. By continually postponing decisions, you hinder your own growth.

Imagine for a moment that the Father were to delay sending His love to the universe. The entire creation would cease to exist because it is sustained by the energy of His love. If that flow were interrupted, even for an instant, the consequences would be catastrophic. To illustrate this, picture an infinite line of supersonic aircraft flying in formation. If the lead plane stopped, even for a moment, all the planes following behind would crash into one another, leading to disaster—even for those miles behind the leader. Though this is a simplified analogy, it gives you an idea of what would happen if the Father ever halted His love.

This teaches us that nothing should be delayed, especially when action is required in the present. We are all guided by the Father, and you too can seek His counsel in making decisions that align with His will and benefit the whole. But avoid putting things off just because they seem difficult or unpleasant. Growth doesn’t come through avoidance. It comes through decisions and their execution for the collective good.

Your growth is personal, but your decisions often have collective consequences. And while the implementation of these decisions can be both personal and collective, the fruits of your efforts will always benefit both you and the larger whole.
