Jesus: I Speak to You Again

Chapter 95

While Changing Yourself, You Change Humanity

Through this teaching, I, whom you know as Jesus Christ, do not wish to frighten or alienate you, nor to turn you against me or my apostle who is faithfully recording these words. I ask you not to direct any anger, jealousy, irritation, or resentment towards either of us. Our purpose is simple and sincere: to bring this light to each of you, to make these teachings available so that you may study them and make your own decisions. You must choose freely and consciously whether the path of the Father’s love and light is right for you, and whether you are content with the state of the world—both the world within yourself and the world around you, in your home, your community, your nation, and across the planet.

If you are satisfied with the level of light and love you perceive, then make your decision accordingly and continue to live your life as you see fit. But if you feel dissatisfied, if you believe that something must change for there to be more light and love in the world, then you must also make a free decision about how you can personally take action to ensure that the love and light of the Father fills you and radiates from you into the world, reaching all of humanity and all creation.

It is essential that you make a choice rather than remain trapped in fear or indifference, thinking that your actions make no difference. You are part of this humanity; it is not something distant or separate from you. Humanity begins and ends within each of you. If you change yourself for the better, humanity becomes better by one person. If you change for the worse, humanity takes a step back by that same measure. Each of you has the power, through your willful decisions, to either hinder or help the enlightenment of humanity and the spread of the Father’s love.

Humanity can only progress through the free-will choices and actions of each of its members, including you.
