Jesus: I Speak to You Again
Chapter 93
Once Again About a Spiritual Teacher
When empires crumble, there is great confusion. But the most profound confusion occurs not when physical empires fall, but when the illusionary empires built in a person’s mind—those centered around self-interest—begin to break down. In such times, the mind can feel lost, not understanding what is happening within. It may feel unwanted, betrayed, and abandoned. The ambitions that once drove the mind lose their purpose as an inner sense awakens, realizing that past pursuits have not brought true peace or satisfaction. Yet, this newfound awareness does not always come with clear guidance on what the next step should be. This is when a visible guide—a spiritual teacher—is especially needed.
A spiritual teacher can ease the fears, uncertainties, and confusion of a mind that no longer wishes to follow its old ways but is unsure of what new path to take. Such a teacher serves as a steadying presence, helping a soul that yearns to open up feel reassured that its choice to abandon the old, self-centered path is the right one, even if it doesn’t yet know what lies ahead.
The role of a spiritual teacher will always be needed, as there will never come a time when all people understand and experience life in the same way. Those who seek more deeply and sincerely need a teacher with greater experience—not just someone with more knowledge or a sharp mind, but one who has walked the spiritual path themselves. Such a teacher guides not through recalling what they have read or heard, but through sharing their own journey. They draw from their deep connection with the Father and from the experiences that have shaped their soul, offering a living word that comes directly from the Father’s spirit within them.
This kind of teacher doesn’t rely on memorized quotes or borrowed wisdom. They speak from their heart, shaped by their continuous relationship with the Father. As they open up to the Father with all their soul, they become a channel for the Father’s spirit, the Thought Adjuster, to deliver the words that their students need most. This connection allows the student to sense the sincerity and depth of the teacher’s love and guidance.
A true spiritual teacher relies on the Father for support. They offer comfort to a troubled soul even when no other solutions seem visible, calming it with the vibrations of the Father’s love. After bringing peace, the teacher shows the troubled soul how to seek this same comfort directly from the Father, no matter where they are or how difficult their situation may seem.
The Father never abandons anyone. He is always present within each of you. To truly feel Him, you need to open your heart and soul to Him. A spiritual teacher’s role is to guide others in discovering this openness.
Throughout human history, the role of a spiritual teacher has never reached its fullest potential. Even when I have sent my representatives in human form, they could not fully convey the truth they knew because the spiritual maturity of humanity was not yet ready to receive it. The message had to be softened to meet people where they were. For millennia, the absence of true spiritual teachers has been felt because of the spiritual setbacks caused by rebellion against the Father and me, led by a spiritual leader who strayed. This deviation distorted even the most basic understanding of the Father and me, leading to fear and suffering. Watching this distortion and the resulting pain has been difficult for those of us who understand the true light of the Father’s creation. Many of you have been trapped in fear and have passed this suffering onto your children, unable to comprehend the light that a spiritual teacher brings.
My teachings are for those who long for the light of true spiritual guidance and are willing to follow a genuine spiritual teacher when they encounter one. I call many to carry my light, choosing those who desire to be my messengers and who freely offer themselves in love for the Father, ready to share my teachings with their brothers and sisters.
