Jesus: I Speak to You Again
Chapter 33
Faith
I understood very well that the world around me was not yet saturated with the high vibrations of love that I was experiencing. The energy vibrations of people’s consciousness were still low and heavy, which caused them to suffer. They were weighed down by their own pain and fears, and they perpetuated this suffering by scaring each other with the idea of a punishing God. Merely thinking in this way blocked the soul’s ability to embrace the higher and brighter vibrations that could vitalize it from within. As a result, people could not find the inner satisfaction or energy needed to lift themselves up and spread their wings for good deeds.
I knew that without my help, people would not realize that they had a loving Father in God—a Father who loved them and served them, rather than a God who demanded obedience and punishment. But it wasn’t enough for them just to know this; they also needed to have faith in this loving Father. And that was where I could not help them directly. Faith is a step that each person must take on their own. They had to muster the courage to break free from the long-held, distorted beliefs passed down through generations—beliefs about an angry, vengeful, and punishing God. This was a daunting challenge for anyone, not just for the Jews, but also for the gentiles.
People fear uncertainty and change more than anything. Uncertainty scares them, and change exhausts them because it forces them to step into the unknown, to become something they have never been before. This creates anxiety. As a result, the human mind, with its attachment to ego, clings to what is familiar and known, even if it is a false sense of peace. People rely on what they have verified and understood because it feels safe. It is in this space that human faith must manifest—faith in the One whom they cannot see, but whose presence they can feel once their soul opens up to Him fully. The fruit of this faith is love and peace.
Faith is like a cane for a sick or weak person to lean on, helping them to walk. As one’s faith grows, the need for the cane diminishes. Faith is not just a support but also a medicine. The more faith a person has, the healthier they become, and the less they need to rely on external supports. When a person recovers through faith and becomes strong, they no longer need the cane or the medicine. At this point, faith transforms, and the person is born of the spirit. Their soul fills with the Creator’s love vibrations, and they long to soar above the darkness of life’s tribulations and anxieties. They feel driven to help others, sharing their experiences so that other souls, too, may take flight. This flight is powered by good deeds, and faith becomes the fuel that propels these actions.
Faith, which once served as a cane for the weak, evolves into the powerful force that drives good deeds. As faith deepens, it begins to change a person’s character, inspiring them to live a life ever more aligned with the Source of their faith. Their soul seeks to fuse more deeply with the Creator, the very spark that kindles their faith. This spark is the Creator’s spiritual gift, His spirit. It works within the mind, guiding but never violating the principle of free will.
I knew that most people wouldn’t be able to understand me. Many wouldn’t be interested in my teachings at all because they were too afraid to embrace the light that I carried. The light blinded them. Therefore, I had to descend to their level of understanding, so that I could raise them, even if only slightly, to a higher perspective—one that would allow them to see the world in a new light.
