Jesus: I Speak to You Again
Chapter 31
My Decision
I made a firm and final decision: “I must live as all other people do, without setting myself apart from them. Only by living like them, yet always embodying love, truth, and mercy from a higher consciousness, will they be able to follow me. They need to see that I am not beyond their reach, not elevating myself above their understanding. I must show them only what they are capable of understanding and doing themselves.”
Thus, I resolved not to use any extraordinary means to attract people to me. Instead, I would attract them by living among them, as one of them, yet fully immersed in the Father’s love. This example would not be just for that generation but for all human generations, not just on that planet but on millions of others. I would not get involved in economic or political affairs; rather, I would live in such a way that human minds, once enlightened by the higher vibrations of consciousness emanating from the First Source and Center, would be able to manage their economic, political, educational, and daily affairs with wisdom.
It was not specific advice on worldly matters that they needed; it was enlightenment. Once they became enlightened, they would know how to address the issues that concerned them. If I had given them instructions on how to handle every specific situation, those instructions would soon become outdated as circumstances changed. It was far more important to show them the path to light and wisdom so that they could solve the problems of any generation and any century on their own.
Therefore, I decided to refrain from using supernatural means. This was in keeping with the Father’s will, which I had come to demonstrate to all my brothers and sisters. By living in this way, they, too, would learn how to do the Father’s will every day, in every moment.
